Welcome to EquaHeart
Heart-health education, wherever you are.
Cardiovascular disease affects people differently across Canada. Our mission is to bring clear, evidence-based, culturally aware heart health teaching to communities that need it most—led by resident physicians and supported by local partners.
About Us
Bridging the gap in heart health education.
Across Canada, many communities face higher risk of heart disease because of barriers like language, income, geography, and discrimination. EquaHeart was created to help close that gap through simple, practical, evidence-based teaching—designed with communities, not just for them.
Resident physicians and local partners deliver sessions on the full spectrum of cardiovascular health, including heart attack prevention, heart failure, heart rhythm problems, and valvular disease. Our approach is plain-language, visual, and grounded in real-world challenges.
